For three decades of historical ups and downs, accompanying the country, Viettel Construction Corporation has evolved from its beginnings in "building cable poles" to become a robust and established entity in the market. It has made significant contributions to the nation's vigorous and prosperous development, rising to become a "hero" in peacetime.
Viettel Construction had the honor of receiving prestigious awards from the Party, the State, and the Military.
Holding the position of Number 1 in Vietnam for building and operating the domestic telecommunication infrastructure: nearly 60,000 transmission towers, 320,000 kilometers of optical fiber equivalent to 8 times around the Earth, covering 100% of Vietnam's territory, 11 million super broadband fixed access points, capable of providing services to 80% of households. Viettel Construction has pioneered the establishment and operation of the entire telecommunications infrastructure at border areas, islands, and remote regions, on the frontiers of the nation. The company has also participated in developing telecommunications infrastructure in 10 countries across Asia, Africa, and the Americas. Viettel Construction exemplifies the values of "Perseverance in building a prosperous, happy, and remarkably developed life" that the company strives to deliver to its customers, partners, and the country over the past 30 years.
Lieutenant General Pham Hoai Nam, a member of the Central Committee of the Party, a member of the Central Military Commission, and Deputy Minister of Defense, expressed his appreciation and high regard for the determination, creativity, and efforts of Viettel Construction over the past 30 years.
With its outstanding achievements, Viettel Construction has been honored with the title of Labor Hero. On behalf of the President, and the leadership of the Party and State, Lieutenant General Pham Hoai Nam, a member of the Central Committee of the Party, a member of the Central Military Commission, and Deputy Minister of National Defense, presented the Labor Hero title to Viettel Construction Corporation on the morning of March 26, 2025. This event marks a significant milestone in the company’s history.
At the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Pham Hoai Nam, Deputy Minister of Defense, expressed his appreciation and high regard for the determination, creativity, and efforts of Viettel Construction Joint Stock Company (Viettel Construction) in particular, and Viettel Group in general, in mastering and leading the telecommunications infrastructure sector. He noted that their contributions have helped elevate the nation’s telecommunications to a global level, standing shoulder to shoulder with the leading powers around the world.
Reaching out with the nation
Thanks to relentless efforts, over the past 10 years, Viettel Construction Joint Stock Company has achieved an average annual revenue growth rate of 26%. By the end of 2024, the company's total assets are projected to reach 7.106 trillion VND, with revenue expected to hit 12.666 trillion VND, reflecting an increase of 1.267.1 billion VND compared to 2023. Furthermore, the pre-tax profit is anticipated to be 671.8 billion VND, an increase of 35.8 billion VND from the previous year. For many consecutive years, Viettel Construction has consistently ranked among the Top 500 largest enterprises in Vietnam, the Top 500 fastest-growing companies, the Top 100 best workplaces, and the Top 500 leading employers. These figures reflect the company’s significant role in the sustainable socio-economic development of the nation.
Deputy Minister of National Defense, Senior Lieutenant General Pham Hoai Nam, particularly emphasized the new key tasks in the career of building and safeguarding the Fatherland concerning Viettel Construction Joint Stock Company.
At the ceremony, Lieutenant General Pham Hoai Nam, a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, a member of the Central Military Commission, and Deputy Minister of Defense, also urged the Viettel Group in general and Viettel Construction Corporation specifically to continue setting new, highly challenging tasks.
Firstly, it is essential to continue to thoroughly grasp and implement the Resolution of the Central Committee 8 (the 13th term) regarding the Strategy for National Defense in the new situation; the Resolution No. 57 dated December 22, 2024, of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science and technology, innovation, and national digital transformation; the Resolution of the 11th Party Congress of the Army; and the Resolution No. 820 dated December 17, 2021, of the Central Military Commission on "Leading tasks of labor production, building the economy in conjunction with national defense of the Army until 2030.
Secondly, continue to maintain its position as the leader in construction, operation, exploitation, and investment in telecommunications infrastructure. The remaining business sectors of the Corporation should strive to rank among the top in the industry, affirming the strength and aspirations of the military enterprise both domestically and in international markets.
Thirdly, leveraging collective strength to advance science, technology, innovation, and comprehensive digital transformation across all sectors of the corporation.
Fourthly, it is essential to maintain a strong and cohesive relationship with the local party committees, government, mass organizations, the local community, partner agencies, and clients.
Fifthly, focus on building strong party organizations at all levels in terms of politics, ideology, ethics, organization, and personnel. We strive to strengthen and rectify the Party in conjunction with promoting the study and practice of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style, along with the movement 'Enhancing Tradition, Contributing Talents, and Living up to the Title of Veteran Soldiers' in the new era."
In response, Deputy Minister of National Defense, Colonel Do Manh Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors, committed to fulfilling the assigned tasks and continuing to stand alongside and grow with the nation.

In the journey ahead, Viettel Construction Joint Stock Company (Viettel Construction) will continue to uphold the pioneering spirit and dedicated service, aiming to become one of the leading units in the construction of information technology and telecommunications infrastructure in the region and globally, while providing comprehensive solutions for the community. Each project and every construction product is not only a milestone on the telecommunications map but also an indelible mark in the nation's development history, contributing to the creation of a digital society that connects and promotes sustainable growth.
