Last year, Vinamilk topped this list with a brand value of US $ 2.2 billion. After 1 year, Vinamilk's brand value increased to nearly 200 million USD, while Viettel's brand value increased to nearly 800 million USD.
Along the list, the remaining brands in the top10 such as VNPT, Sabeco, Vinhomes, MobiFone, Masan Consumer, Vietcombank, FPT and Vincom Retail are all valued at less than half a billion dollars.
By sector, the two groups with the most valuable businesses are the food-beverage group and the financial services group (there are 9 enterprises), accounting for the largest proportion in terms of quantity, followed by real estate, technology, raw materials, retail.
Despite the efforts, Forbes Vietnam said that there was not enough information to determine the brand value of a number of large state and private enterprises when they did not disclose the figures. Therefore, public companies (making publicly available financial figures) occupy a large proportion in the list.
