Viettel project (CTR) made a record profit in the fourth quarter, exceeding 14% of the profit plan in 2019

In 2019, CTR achieved revenue of VND 5,046 billion – an increase of 18% and profit after tax of VND 180.9 billion – an increase of 23%. Compared to the profit after tax plan of 158.2 billion dongs in 2019, CTR has exceeded 14% of the set target.

FORTUNE HONORS VIETTEL CONSTRUCTION IN THE TOP 500 LARGEST COMPANIES IN SOUTHEAST ASIA

Recently, the famous Fortune magazine announced the Top 500 largest companies in Southeast Asia in 57 fields, based on revenue criteria for the fiscal year 2023.

In 2019, CTR achieved revenue of VND 5,046 billion – an increase of 18% and profit after tax of VND 180.9 billion – an increase of 23%. Compared to the profit after tax plan of 158.2 billion dongs in 2019, CTR has exceeded 14% of the set target.

Viettel Construction Corporation (CTR) announced the consolidated financial statements for the fourth quarter of 2019 with net revenue of VND 1,371 billion, up 17% over the same period last year and this is also the quarter with the highest revenue from before to now.

In terms of revenue structure, the station operation and information response segment currently play a key role when bringing CTR 776 billion dongs. The traditional segment of CTR only contributed VND 391 billion in revenue, while commercial sales (smart home devices, air conditioners...) brought in VND 199 billion.

CTR's gross profit in the period reached VND 91.3 billion, equivalent to a gross profit margin of 6.7%, slightly up from 6.6% in the third quarter of 2019.

CTR's financial income in the fourth quarter of 2019 reached VND 7.7 billion, down more than VND 2 billion compared to the same period last year mainly due to the absence of foreign exchange gains. In September 2019, CTR made a decision to terminate investment in the markets of Haiti, Burundi, Cameroon, Tanzania.

Meanwhile, interest on deposits and loans in the period of CTR amounted to VND 7.5 billion, 3.7 times higher than the same period last year. By the end of 2019, the cash and equivalent balance of CTR amounted to VND 809 billion, nearly double that of the beginning of the year and an increase of VND 54 billion compared to the third quarter of 2019.

Financial expenses incurred were just over VND 800 million due to exchange rate losses and re-evaluating the ending balance. CTR currently has no debt.

After deducting expenses incurred in the period, CTR recorded VND 56.34 billion in after-tax profit in the fourth quarter of 2019, an increase of 41% compared to the same period last year and also the highest profit quarter ever, up to now.

In 2019, CTR achieved revenue of VND 5,046 billion – an increase of 18% and profit after tax of VND 180.9 billion – an increase of 23%. Compared to the target profit after tax of 158.2 billion dongs in 2019, CTR has exceeded 14% of the set target.

Notably, the fixed asset value of CTR has continuously increased in recent quarters. By the end of 2019, the value of fixed assets CTR was up to 274 billion VND, a sharp increase compared to 43 billion VND at the beginning of the year.
