Previously, Viettel employees donated 19 billion dongs to build a teleconference center for the health sector.
Since the outbreak began, Viettel has effectively supported the prevention and control of COVID-19.
Specifically, Viettel has built a Telehealth telehealth system for 1,300 medical facilities nationwide, deployed 700 bridge points at hospitals with COVID-19 cases, built a portal and application "Vietnam's health", medical declarations, disease maps, electronic health books, COVID-19 vaccine passports nationwide.
In particular, in just 2 weeks, Viettel has installed and integrated nearly 4,000 surveillance cameras in isolated areas in the northern provinces. Viettel's virtual switchboard (Cyber Bot) has made more than 200,000 calls to subscribers who have not installed Bluezone to mobilize and provide instructions on how to use it to protect themselves and the community from the COVID-19 epidemic.

- Install surveillance cameras for anti-epidemic service
- In 2 weeks, completed the installation and integrated connection of 3,757 surveillance cameras in isolated areas in the Northern provinces. Particularly for 130 isolation facilities in 125 communes of Bac Giang province - the locality with the most stressful situation in the country, Viettel has mobilized maximum resources to install 1,330 cameras within 5 days, twice as fast as normal progress.
- For isolation points in the Army: Viettel has completed a survey of 79 isolation points and 12 centralized monitoring points in 49 provinces/cities. By deploying Viettel's cameras, epidemic prevention and control agencies can monitor all activities in isolation areas from the 24-hour management system, minimizing developments that could worsen the situation. More important than the epidemic situation is the condition that human and material resources for monitoring the provinces have been mobilized to the maximum capacity.
