August revenue grew by 21%, Viettel Construction continued to make impressive breakthroughs

Viettel Construction's August business results recorded revenue of VND 635 billion, an increase of 21% over the same period in 2020 (△ = 110.1 billion), pre-tax profit of VND 34.51 billion. Accumulated revenue in 2021 will reach VND 4,869.2 billion ~ 73.8% of the year plan (VND 6,600 billion).

Forbes Vietnam magazine has just announced the list of 50 best listed companies in 2024. Based on the revenue and profit rankings, Viettel Construction increased 2 places compared to 2023.

FORTUNE HONORS VIETTEL CONSTRUCTION IN THE TOP 500 LARGEST COMPANIES IN SOUTHEAST ASIA

Recently, the famous Fortune magazine announced the Top 500 largest companies in Southeast Asia in 57 fields, based on revenue criteria for the fiscal year 2023.

Although it is only the end of August 2021, Viettel Construction has completed up to 73.8% of the year plan. While the Covid-19 epidemic continues to cause difficulties on a large scale, many provinces have to social distance according to Directive 16, consumer behavior changes. Against that backdrop, the business results are still growing well, making it easy for Viettel Construction to get close to the revenue target, even reaching the threshold of more than 7,000 billion when the covid-19 pandemic soon improves.

Accordingly, the foreign market sector continued to record a growth of 98.3% over the same period in 2020, an increase of 5.9% compared to July, reaching VND 81 billion. Domestic revenue is boosted by many new signed projects. Specifically:

Field of Operation and Mining:

Viettel Construction maintains and ensures the quality of the network and telecommunications services in Viettel Group and its partners: CMC Telecom, Ministry of Public Security, isolation areas.

In the Myanmar market, Viettel Construction received and handed over 80 stations from MNTI partners to carry out the operation and exploitation in the period of 2021-2022.

Technical services (Home Services, Tower/Fiber Care, IT Support, Solar Care) grew 12.2% compared to July. Typically, Tower/Fiber Care and IT Support segment grew impressively, reaching 820% and 365.4%.

Building sector: Signing many large projects such as:

Deploying the construction of a power plant project to recover residual heat at Xuan Thanh cement plant - Quang Nam (total capacity of 6 MW, value of VND 21.3 billion).

Signing contract with Victoria Real Estate Management Company Limited, building 32 adjacent apartments in the social housing project of the Resettlement and Commercial Service Area, Ward 4, City. Tra Vinh (valued at 9.2 billion VND).

Continue to sign with APEC Group to construct and complete the conference house, guest house, and ancillary items (worth 12.8 billion) and complete the construction of Villa models (value 10.5 billion dongs) under the project Kim Boi mineral spring high-class amusement park, Hoa Binh.

Infrastructure construction, construction, and maintenance of BTS stations in Truong Sa are also guaranteed, completing 12/12 stations in August. Accumulated to complete 47/47 total stations according to the signed plan.

Investing in rental infrastructure:

Deploying the infrastructure of 100 socialized BTS stations, accumulating 685 stations.

Continue to sign infrastructure leasing contracts with the 2nd network operator with 23 locations in 10 provinces (Binh Duong, Ha Nam, Ca Mau, Vinh Long, Phu Yen, Thua Thien Hue,...).

Integrated solution:

ICT segment: 56.4% growth compared to July.

Timely implementation of projects in service of epidemic prevention and control for the government and localities:

- The video conferencing system reaches 209 hospitals and district-level medical centers serving the Ministry of Health and the Government to manage and control the Covid-19 epidemic.

- Surveillance camera system for the Anti-epidemic Command Headquarters at 05 hospitals and military barracks in Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong (32 surveillance cameras and equipment for recording and storing images), videoconferences, etc. for headquarters at Division 317 - HCM).

- Installing surveillance camera systems at concentrated medical isolation points of 6/6 provinces/cities under Military Zone 7.

- Implemented the project of installing the entire information technology system for the field hospital of Hanoi Medical University with a scale of 500-700 beds (revenue bringing ~ 19 billion).

Solar energy segment:

Signed a contract for the installation project of 2448 Canadian Solar solar panels, with a total capacity of 1101.6 KwP/900kWac for Nam Dinh Forest Products Joint Stock Company.

Zero Export solar power management solution continued to record 270 KWp of projects using in August.

Mảng M&E:

Signed cooperation agreement to distribute "Carrier air purifier" in Vietnam market with An Gia Tien Joint Stock Company. It is expected that the product will be distributed in large and small supermarkets, more than 700 agent clusters nationwide.

M&E projects continue to be implemented in many provinces such as the light electricity system at Hanoi Field Hospital (valued at VND 15 billion), supply of housing projects under the Construction Joint Stock Company. and Quang Ninh Infrastructure Development (VND 2 billion),…

Provide smart radio solutions in the Gia Vien Ninh Binh area with 11 broadcast points.
