Looking back at 2021, the Covid-19 epidemic continues to develop complicatedly in Vietnam, causing a heavy impact on the economy and social life of the people. However, Viettel Construction has made efforts to overcome difficulties in all business areas, bringing the Corporation to sustainable development in the context of the epidemic in the period of 2020-2021.
Overview of Viettel Construction's results in 2021
In December 2021, Viettel Construction recorded revenue of VND 675.6 billion. Accumulated year reached 7,454.3 billion ~ 113% of the plan (6,600 billion).
Non-Group revenue reached 247.1 billion dongs, up 28.9% over the same period in 2020 (△ = 55.3 billion). Accumulated year reached 2,119 billion ~ 158% of the plan (1,343.1 billion).
Profit before tax: Reached 73.77 billion, up 13% over the same period in 2020 (△ = 8.5 billion). Accumulated year reached 471.7 billion ~ 135% of the plan (350.6 billion).
Cash flow: Reaching 77.47 billion ~ 141.2% of the monthly plan (54.9 billion), up 28.1% over the same period in 2020 (△ = 17.0 billion). Accumulated year reached 527 billion ~ 113% of the plan (466.6 billion).
Thus, Viettel Construction achieved a growth of 17% in revenue compared to 2020 (△ = 1,095 billion), an increase of 37% in pre-tax profit compared to 2020 (△ = 126.6 billion), successfully completed the plan suggest.

December 2021 results recorded revenue from core areas:
Operation and exploitation (VHKT):
Viettel Construction ensures the cultural and technical work of the cable network of Viettel Group, partners CMC, MobiFone (domestic), and partners in foreign markets.
Signing service contracts for repair and maintenance of equipment with Sunhouse worth 8 billion VND/year, Pharmacy worth 5 billion VND/year, etc. Expand deployment area with Casper, Ferroli, TH True Milk, Ariston, Goldsun.
Build:
- Viettel Construction signed a contract for a 22 MW residual heat recovery power generation project Xuan Thanh Ha Nam Cement Plant, line 3 (VND 31.9 billion).
- Successfully negotiated the Southern Bac Giang urban area project (investor Tuan Mai, valued at VND 255.3 billion).
- Project to build headquarters in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City (VND 100 billion).
- Project of 52 adjacent apartments Dat Xanh (90.8 billion VND).
- Agree with VTPost on the implementation of VTPost's logistics warehouse construction project.
Investment in rental infrastructure:
- Deploying and completing synchronously the infrastructure of 1,470 BTS socialization stations in 2021.
- BTS: signed a contract with the 2nd carrier at 44/93 locations.
Integrated solution:
- Continue to coordinate with SkyX and Comes funds to contact roof owners, clusters/industrial parks that need to use solar power under the DPPA mechanism (During the month, 327 customers have been contacted).
- Completing the construction and issuing the business plan for products made by Viettel Construction (VCC Solar Scada), expected in the second quarter of 2022, the product will be put on the market.
- Implement multi-channel sales activities, improve the quality of sales channels, increase brand awareness of Viettel Construction (Livestream program; Organize mobile selling points; Develop business plans for Ecommerce channels...).
Other management:
- Completing the development and issuing the process according to SCOR.
- Completing the plan to list CTR shares on HOSE with the number of 92.9 million shares.
- Launched and responded to support the program "Waves and computers for children", the total amount of donations both times reached 9.47 billion VND.
- Develop a program plan to apply social responsibility standards according to SA8000 & ISO 26000 for the Corporation, complete ISO 9001:2015 certification.
Business plan January 2022:
- Expected to achieve the revenue target of 644.9 billion dongs, up 20.9% over the same period in 2020 (△ = 111.3 billion). Accumulated to reach 644.9 billion ~ 8% of the year plan (8,000 billion).
- Profit before tax: 35.92 billion, up 34.8% over the same period in 2020 (△= 9.3 billion). Accumulated to reach 35.92 billion ~ 7% of the year plan (517.6 billion).
