On September 8, 2023, Vietnam Report Joint Stock Company (Vietnam Report) in collaboration with VietNamNet newspaper announced the Profit500 Ranking - Top 500 Most Profitable Enterprises in Vietnam in 2023. This is a regular ranking. year to find and honor businesses that operate effectively, have the ability to generate high and sustainable profits.
Accordingly, Viettel Construction had impressive results when it increased 28 places to reach 206th position in the Top 500 Most Profitable Enterprises in Vietnam 2023. Previously, in 2022 Viettel Construction ranked 234th position, up 2 places compared to with 2021.
This result is evaluated based on profit and revenue figures for 2022, along with previous consecutive years of the business. Viettel Construction had a successful year in 2022 when revenue reached 9,398 billion VND, completing 109% of the plan, growing 26% over the same period in 2021. Profit after tax reached 443 billion VND, completing 107% of the plan , growing 18% over the same period in 2021.
In addition to being ranked in the Top 500 Most Profitable Enterprises in Vietnam 2023, Viettel Construction also appears in the Top 50 Best Profitable Enterprises in Vietnam (Vietnam Best Profitable) announced by the Organizing Committee. 2023 is the third consecutive year Viettel Construction is present in this Club of 50 Excellent Profit Enterprises.

The average ROA of Profit500 businesses in 2023 has improved relatively evenly in all three economic regions. Among them, FDI enterprises continue to maintain the leading position at 13.7%, and also have the strongest increase among the three regions (+2.7% compared to 2022), showing stability. determination in business operations and the ability to generate profits of this business sector. The remaining two positions also had no disturbance and both had an increase compared to the past two years, when private sector enterprises and state sector enterprises recorded an average ROA ratio of 11, respectively. 2% and 9.2%, ranked second and third, respectively.

2023 sees a notable change in the average ROE of Profit500 businesses. The FDI and private sectors demonstrated strong growth in corporate financial performance and equity management, increasing by 4.6% and 5.5%, respectively, compared to 2022 results. Thereby, recording the highest level in the past 5 years. On the other hand, although the average ROE increased from 16.5% last year to 17.2% this year, this improvement in the State sector is still not obvious and is quite slight compared to the other two sectors. again, so this is the second year in a row that the region has ranked third.
