Prime Minister officially approved electricity planning VIII
After 8 submissions, the National Electricity Development Plan for the period of 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, was officially approved by the Prime Minister. On May 15, the Prime Minister issued a decision approving the national electricity development plan for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 (Power planning VIII). Previously, the Power Planning Project VIII was first submitted to the Prime Minister by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in March 2021. Since then, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has in turn made eight other submissions on this project, with the most recent being in November 2022.

On January 7, 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued a decision on the price bracket for electricity generation of solar power plants and transitional wind power plants. This decision stipulates that the ceiling price is the highest price of the electricity generation price bracket (excluding value added tax).
