Taiwan-Vietnam Association for Economic Cultural Education Development was established in 2016, and in November 2019, it was licensed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam to establish a branch in Vietnam. In the first 4 months of 2023, Taiwan has invested about 594.48 million USD in Vietnam with 50 new projects. Of which, newly registered capital reached about 328.17 million USD; The value of capital contribution and share purchases reached about 142.30 million USD.

As of April 20, 2023, cumulative total investment capital from Taiwan into Vietnam reached 37.01 billion USD with a total of 2,959 projects. With this amount of capital, Taiwan currently ranks 4th in the list of economies investing the most in Vietnam.

In terms of investment, Taiwan's investment projects are most concentrated in the field of processing and manufacturing industries, accounting for more than 80% of total registered investment capital; Second is the construction sector; Next is the real estate business sector.
