VIETTEL CONSTRUCTION RESPONDS TO INFORMATION ABOUT BEING BANNED FROM BIDDING IN SON TRA DISTRICT, DA NANG

Recently, media outlets have reported that Viettel Construction has been banned from participating in bidding activities in Son Tra District, Da Nang. In response to this information, Viettel Construction provides the following clarification:

On March 5th, the project "VietStar Integrated Solid Waste Treatment Plant," invested by VietStar Corporation, officially commenced construction at the Northwest Solid Waste Treatment Complex in Cu Chi District, Ho Chi Minh City. Viettel Construction participated as a representative of the contractor consortium.

Viettel Construction has been consecutively honored in the Top 500 Largest Enterprises in Vietnam and the Top 500 Best-Performing Enterprises in Vietnam for 2024.

On January 22, 2025, the People’s Committee of Son Tra District, Da Nang, issued Decision No. 257/QD-UBND, prohibiting Viettel Construction Corporation (Viettel Construction) from participating in bidding activities in Son Tra District for three years due to alleged fraudulent practices during the bidding process.

On February 3, 2025, Viettel Construction submitted Document No. 11/CV-CNCTDNG to the Chairman of the People’s Committee of Son Tra District, Da Nang, appealing the aforementioned decision. On February 11, 2025, following Viettel Construction's appeal, the People’s Committee of Son Tra District issued Notification No. 32/TB-UBND, officially accepting the case for review and resolution.

As a law-abiding organization, Viettel Construction is committed to actively cooperating with all relevant parties to resolve this issue through legal procedures. The results will be continuously updated and publicly disclosed via mass media channels.
