It is expected that by 2025, the total number of stations Viettel Construction owns will reach 9,000 - 10,000 stations, maintaining its position as the No. 1 TowerCo in Vietnam. The stations that the Corporation builds will be based on the needs of the Viettel Group.
At the meeting, the representative of the Thai Fund asked about the difference of Viettel Construction compared to other companies in Vietnam in the field of infrastructure investment. Mr. Pham Dinh Truong - General Director of Viettel Construction said:
Firstly, the difference of Viettel Construction is efficiency, specifically the payback period of Viettel Construction's infrastructure investment is about 5 years, pre-tax profit on revenue is about 20-30%.
Second, Viettel Construction is the No. 1 telecommunications construction and installation company in Vietnam. The Corporation has built about 120,000 BTS stations of Viettel Group in many countries around the world. Currently, Viettel Construction is operating the entire telecommunications infrastructure for Viettel Group in Cambodia and Myanmar.
Mr. Pham Dinh Truong - CEO of Viettel Construction
Third, Viettel Construction is a company specializing in telecommunications infrastructure, providing full-service services from consulting, design, project construction, operation and investment.
Fourth, Viettel Construction's telecommunications infrastructure leasing activities are at an effective level. If the Company adds 1-2 more carriers, it will help optimize profits. On the other hand, Viettel Construction complies with state regulations on investment and must not incur losses.
Fifth, Viettel Construction is a company within the ecosystem of Viettel Group, a telecommunications brand ranked Top 10 in Asia. Viettel Construction is also the Top 3 midcap stocks most loved by investors in Vietnam (on HoSE).
According to the Government's plan from now until the end of 2024, Vietnam will turn off the 2G network. Therefore, by 2024, it will be mainly 4G and possibly 5G. When 5G technology explodes, Viettel Construction will have more opportunities to invest in new stations. 5G networks require high speed, so the construction distance is shorter, requiring a greater number of 5G station locations. The nature of 5G distance is shorter, so the number of locations is greater, in which the source cost is unchanged, the infrastructure investment cost of the tower will be lower (small cells).
Representative of the Fund delegation from Thailand

By 2025, Viettel Construction's revenue can reach greater than or equal to 15,000 billion VND, and by 2030 it can reach 25,000 billion VND.
