On 28 July 2020, the management training course for being-selected Viettel Construction Branches' directors was officially opened at Viettel Academy, Hoa Lac, Thach That, Hanoi. The goal is to equip future directors with a modern management trend, creating a competent, qualified, ready-to-replace and new team in the new period.
The opening ceremony of the training course was held solemnly with the participation of Mr. Le Huu Hien, Deputy CEO of VCC, Mr. Bui Quang Tuyen, Director of Viettel Academy, representatives of leaders of departments and centers of the Corporation along with 29 students from provinces across the country.
The course will take place within 23 days, with a number up to 23 highly qualified experts, in addition to the Board of Directors, the heads of departments and centres who have experienced management positions and teaching experience in many businesses in the fields of Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Law ... will be the lecturers.
Currently, the management trend is shifting to applying advanced management models such as Balance Score Card, Lean Management and new technology trends, revolution 4.0, digital transformation (DX). Meanwhile, VCC's business model is operating in four pillars, with many new business areas, customers, partners and products, requiring the organizational model to be shifted accordingly.
Therefore, in order for each technology industry to be a real business unit, responsible for business efficiency, the management force (which is now mainly a technical work force) needs to be trained to improve management skills, business knowledge.
Attending the course, students will be methodically and intensively trained, equipped with modern management trends to create a competent and qualified team to meet the needs of replacement of VCC Branch Directors in the new period.
The course will be applied in a combination of training forms, methods, tools and technologies to achieve the highest training effectiveness, following the structure: Offline (20%) – Online (10%) – Q&A (10%) – Training On Job (60%).
The concentration schedule is implemented from July 28 - August 26, 2020 with the training contents including:
Management Knowledge: Director Portrait, Leadership, Politics, Law, Marketing, Human Resource Management and Financial Management.
Smart Knowledge: Balance Score Card, mindset, DX (AI, BI)
Professional knowledge: Labor Organization, Planning, Finance, Asset Management, Business Administration
Basic skills: Planning, assigning, supervising, operating and evaluating skills; Motivation skills for employees; Sales skills; Communication skills and crisis handling.
Soft skills: Teamwork skills, time management, problem solving and decision making, life and work balance, internal communication
After training, students will be assessed and selected to assign management tasks, combined with challenges with specific targets on the Board of Directors of Viettel Construction Branches nationwide.
