On June 28, 2021, on behalf of the Ministry of National Defense, Major General Le Dang Dung - Chairman and CEO of Viettel Group presented the decision to promote the rank of Colonel to CEO Pham Dinh Truong.

In this promotion to the rank of Colonel, Viettel Construction has 05 comrades. In addition to the CEO, also Deputy CEO Bui The Hung and 03 key personnel of the Corporation also received this honor.

The promotion to high-ranking military rank is the recognition of the State, Ministry of National Defense, but directly Viettel Group not only for the results of each cadre's efforts and training but also the achievements of the Viettel Construction collective in production and business activities. This is an important and proud milestone in the career life of each officer of the Vietnam People's Army, as well as the collective joy of the Corporation.
On behalf of officers who were promoted to military rank, CEO Pham Dinh Truong expressed his honor at the recognition and trust of the Party, State, Army, and Group. The General Director affirmed that going to a new rank means greater responsibility and heavier tasks.
