ISO 45001: 2018 occupational safety and health management system was officially implemented by the Corporation from October 2019 to April 2020, after 06 months of implementation, the Corporation has been recognized as meeting the international standard of ISO 45001: 2018. This is the second ISO certification, before that is ISO 9001: 2015 certification for quality management systems.
At the Ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung emphasised: “With a workforce of nearly 10,000 people, the Corporation's production and business activities spread across the country with the characteristics of culture, climate and geography according to different regions, so the risk and awareness are different. Safety issues are also complex and varied. Therefore, we recognize that the occupational health and safety management system is very important for businesses in protecting employee health and ensuring compliance with legal requirements on occupational safety and health ”.
ISO 45001: 2018 certificate is just the first step for building a safe working environment and occupational health at Viettel Construction. In order to achieve higher goals, create peace of mind, associate employees with the organization, create trust with customers and partners or create a real competitive advantage, it is necessary to have the companion and effort of all units and employees in the Corporation. In the coming time, it is necessary to maintain and improve the occupational health and safety management system further to meet the increasing demands of customers and partners.
In 2020 and in the following years, Viettel Construction will be determined to build and achieve certification of ISO 27001: 2013 information security management system, ISO 31001: 2018 risk management system and COSO 2013 standard for internal inspection. internal control, comprehensive quality management TQM (Total Quality Management).
