On the morning of October 16, 2023, in Hai Duong, Viettel Construction and AP Packaging Hanoi Company Limited (AP Packaging) held a groundbreaking ceremony for a rooftop solar power project with a capacity of 1179 ,9 KWp.
Attending the ceremony were the Board of Directors of Integrated Solution Center - Viettel Construction, Viettel Construction Hai Duong Branch and partner AP Packaging.
Accordingly, the solar power project at AP Packaging is directly supplied with materials and constructed by Viettel Construction, with a contract value of up to 14.5 billion VND. With 2,070 solar panels, 10 inverters with a capacity of 100KWp, installed on an area of 13,000m2. Project implementation time is 50 days, expected handover at the end of November 2023.

AP Packaging is a member company of SCG Group (Thailand), the company specializes in manufacturing all kinds of carton packaging to supply to the domestic market and international export. Due to the large amount of electricity consumed and the desire to own part of the electricity produced, AP Packaging decided to invest 1179.9 KWp of solar power. It is expected that when the project comes into operation, it will help the Company reduce monthly electricity consumption by more than 30%. In addition, the project will help AP Packaging obtain more green certificates, improving competitiveness for export orders abroad.
