Solar cells are battery systems consisting of many photovoltaic cells that sense light (photodiodes) to convert the energy of light into electrical energy. This electricity has the function of replacing the amount of grid electricity that EVN is supplying to households across the country. In case the amount of electricity is not used up, households can sell it back to Vietnam Electricity at the price of up to 1,943 VND / kWh. The installation of a rooftop solar power system is not only a solution to minimize national grid overload, but also a new automatic profitable investment channel in the Vietnamese market.

Based on the memorandum of cooperation between Viettel Construction and EVN, all EVN employees will be the pioneers to convey the message "Greening Vietnamese roofs" to people across the country, by making use of the roof space to install solar battery system, with a preferential price policy from Viettel Construction. Specifically:
- Viettel Construction preferentially offers a direct price of 30% / investment rate of PVN for EVN employees compared to the listed value issued by the Corporation in 2020.
- Each EVN employee is allowed to install solar PV systems up to 10 kWp.
- Privilege to buy up to 02 new PV systems with preferential price policy as mentioned.
Attending the signing ceremony, Mr. Pham Dinh Truong - General Director of Viettel Construction expressed his thanks to Electricity of Vietnam Group and the Government for issuing a resolution encouraging people to install the PV system during the period. recently, and expressed: “For Viettel Construction, Vietnam Electricity is considered a leading nuclear unit in the national electricity energy strategy.
